Multiliteracy Pedagogy in Teaching Indonesian Drama Study Course

The findings of this study describe the learning process Indonesian Drama Studies courses that were taught using multiliteracy pedagogy. Specifically, theory used in study, developed by Kalantzis and Cope (2008), is comprised following components: (1) Situated Practice/ Experiencing, (2) Overt Instruction/Conceptualizing, (3) Critical Framing/ Analysing, (4) Transformed Applying. descriptive qualitative method was employed investigation. Participants are selected randomly taken from five different classes placed into a single class. research data collected students’ attendance, teaching materials, paper studies drama scripts, YouTube videos amounted to 12 videos. play presented form short performance. show can be achieved through use In learning, students develop variety skills, including reading rehearsing for performances, editing videotapes their performances.
